Kanyakumari is referred to be the Land's end just because the border of India ends in Kanyakumari at the bottom. In the north and northeast contains the Tirunelveli district and in the northwest contains the Kerala which is the neighboring state of Tamilnadu. A lighthouse is vailable in the beach inorder to view the rocks and the beatuty of the waves from there. The sea will be good enough to view the waves beat itself against the rocks and then subside. It takes 87 km travel to reach Kanyakumari beach from Thiruvananthapuram airport. Along with the other transport facilities there are also various other internal transport locally available in Kanyakumari. The local transport includes auto rickshaw, taxi and bus.
