The vadapalani temple or famously known as 'Arulmigu vadapalani Andavar Thirukil' is devoted to Lord Muruga. The pujas are performed from morning 5:30 till the 9:00 in the night. Small intervals are taken in between two pujas. The first puja is performed at 5:30a.m. With the opening of nadai and the last Arthajama puja is performed at 9.00p.m. The holy priests chant the mantras in Tamil and Sanskrit language. It is advisable to pray him in the early morning 5:30 time to fulfill your wish through his blessings.
