Woman: I remembered the day I entered this house and we used to celebrate every new year with our in-laws. 8 years back, we celebrated in Chennai with our son and daughter on the corridor of ECR(East Coast Road) where our son got a good bungalow being employed in a good IT company till his marriage. After our daughter's marriage as she could not able to move out because of her pregnancy, we celebrated in New Delhi. Last year we celebrated in US with our new daughter-in-law. But this year, we are alone here.

Man: Did you finish? You are saying as if it is only for you. Now in India, this is the condition for all the parents of our age. We wished our son and daughter to get settled in good way. But afterwards, people are crying like this. Don't worry, we will celebrate this new year with our children, now go and sleep.

The man went to sleep and the whole night she was not able sleep and with so many thoughts and finally came with an excitement conclusion on her own that he would have booked air ticket from Madurai to New Delhi to celebrate with their daughter. Immediately, she packed cake, sweets, snacks, new dresses nicely and waiting for her husband to wake and get ready.

At 2.00 a.m. the man woke up and wondered to see that she is ready with her luggage. Then a car arrived to pick them up. On their way, she found that car is going on the opposite direction and not on the direction of Madurai. After one hour it reached a place which is also a beautiful place full of nature. As soon as the car entered the gate, a small group of people invited them with a bouquet which made her amused and then they straight went to the guest house finished their breakfast after dressed up in the new dress. There, they are served with a good coffee along with a good Tiffin.

Her husband introduced her to Chairman and Secretary of 'Amar Seva Sangam' which is run by them with their own money in 100 Acres of their own land for the disabled persons and going on explained how they are helpful in that region for giving education and all needs to the disabled person who are residing there. She gave cake, sweets and snacks she brought it from home.

They were taken to an auditorium where she was the chief guest and she distributed cakes, sweets and snacks to children which was arranged by her husband from the nearer place Tenkasi , Tirunelveli which is famous for 'Halwa'. Children in turn greeted her with various cards, toys, crafts designed by them. Afterwards, they enjoyed the cultural programmes given by them.

They are taken round in the campus where she could see amidst of all natural beauty, library, Computer Centres, Centres for different universities for higher learning, Centres for art and craft, sewing, printing and binding press with which they served the community and are managed by the disabled persons who staying either inside the campus or in the nearby places.

The highlight place here is hospital where people from all over India getting treatment for the disability even if it occurs later by accident, free of cost and all items needful like wheel chair, artificial legs to help the disabled are given free of cost.
