Bharathiar University Tamilnadu SET State Eligibility Test notification 2012

Bharathiar University Coimbatore has announced latest notification on Tamilnadu SET State Eligibility Test. All interested eligible candidates can go through the article below and prepare for the exam on Sunday, 07th October 2012. Note that Tamilnadu SET 2012 exam is to determine the eligibility of Indian Nationals for recruitment of Lecturers in Universities and Colleges in Tamilnadu & Union Territory of Puducherry. Please note that exam will be conducted only in 10 centers, they are Chennai, Tirunelveli, Coimbatore, Chidambaram, Madurai, Karaikkudi, Tiruchirappally, Vellore, Salem and Puducherry.

Tamilnadu State Eligibility Test SET 2012 eligibility

Only the candidates who have completed or are pursuing their PG degree are eligible to apply for SET exam 2012.
Minimum of 55% marks should be secured in their PG equivalent examination. Candidates who belong to SC/ST/PC and Visually Challenged (VC) have exemption of 5%, i.e. 50% marks is enough in their Master's Degree Examination.
Candidates who are awaiting for results may also apply for this test. Please note that they have to should the required documents of above mentioned criteria at the time of admission.
All such candidates should obtain their PG degree Marksheet within two years from the date of SET result 2012. If not they will be disqualified.
Please note that all the Ph.D degree holders who completed their Master's level examination by 19th September 1991 are also eligible to apply.
Candidates have to appear for SET in the subject of their Post Graduation only.
Age limit: There is NO AGE limit.

Form the official website, candidates are required to print the Bank Challan Proforma and pay required fees in Bank of India or Indian Bank or Indian Overseas Bank.

Candidate who are interested in Tamilnadu SET admission 2012 should apply online thhrough proper channel before 31.08.2012. Find Tamilnadu SET 2012 online application form in the official website of Bharathiar University.

After filling online application form, take a print out of that.

Printout of online appilcation along with relevant documents to be sent to the address mentioned below. On the envelope cover, you should clearly write "STATE ELIGIBILITY TEST 2012".
