Emu and Emu farms in various districts of Tamilnadu
Four years back, many Emu farms were started in various districts of Tamil Nadu by many Emu form owners. The Emu is a very big bird and the native country of the Emu bird is Australia. The owners of the Emu farms were implemented many investment schemes on Emu and they collected money from the public. The Emu farm owners announced many plans to return the money to the investors with attractive benefits. They gave more advertisements about the investment and money return plans in the various regional news papers and other medias. Many people in Tamil Nadu particularly in Erode, Salem and Namakkal districts invested more money on Emu farms. As per the investment plan, the people can get Emu birds by paying the deposit amount of rupees one lakh onwards. Further, they can get back the money of rupees six thousand onwards per lakh for the period of two or three years and after the period is over the deposited money would be refunded. During the investment periods, the people should keep the Emu birds in their place and can sale the eggs of Emu to the farm owners for reasonable cost. After the agreement period is over, the Emu farm owners will come and collect the Emu birds from the investors.

The Emu farm owners also announced various other schemes to the people of Tamil Nadu to get the more investment. As per the various plans, the public need not get the Emu birds and keep them in their place. As per the new plan, the people can make investment only, the Emu farm owners will take care of the birds in their place and the money will be returned with more interest. This scheme is called as VIP scheme. Many people in Tamil Nadu particularly in the Erode, Salem and Namakkal districts invested huge amount of money under this VIP scheme.
The problems associated with the Emu farms in Tamil Nadu
The many EMU farms in Tamilnadu are not able to return the money to the investors as per the plan agreement now. The main reason is that the Emu farm owners invests the collected money in some other business like real estates etc.. Due to some wrong business strategy, the Emu farm owners could not return the money to the investors. This issue becomes more and more problems today in Tamil Nadu. The investors are requesting the money. But the Emu farm owners could not return the money. The investors made complaints against the Emu farm owners. Ms.J.Jayalalithaa, the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu ordered the police department to take necessary action on the Emu farm owners and take over the various assets of them. So, The public should get awareness among the Emu farms and not to invest the money.
