An Inhuman Incident in the Government Hospital Chrompet

Inhuman activity of throwing the patient out of the hospital in Chrompet, Incident that occurred in the Chrompet government hospital, Polio attacked patient thrown by the hospital staffs who was admitted by a foreigner.

Hospital that lost the sense of Humanity situated at Chrompet

One of the oldest hospitals in Tamil Nadu is the Government hospital situated at Chrompet, a place near Tambaram. It happened three days before when a polio attacked person was thrown away right out of the hospital in the roads. I think this is one of the most disastrous incidents that affected the name and fame of the Hospital. The patient was re admitted in the hospital when the media people entered into this incident.

A brief view on what happened in the Hospital

It happened all the way on 21st of last month that one of the polio affected man was lying in the roads in an unconscious state. Unfortunately a person that too a foreigner who was passing by that way saw the state in which the man was lying and took him with him to provide some food and then admitted that man suffering in that stage in the nearby hospital situated at Chrompet with the patient no 4449. It happened that the employees of the hospital said that we could not do treatment for this man and then threw him on the roads again. The man belonged to Thuttukudi and his name was Ravi who was affected by the Polio syndrome. As there was no one to take care of him he was lying the streets without consciousness. For the past two days the man Ravi was struggling for his life outside the hospital that too in the streets even in the hot weather and in the rain that went raining on those days.

When the people around the location saw this incident and reported that to the media people, the media people went to the hospital to meet the head medical officer "Sundari", and asked why that man was thrown away from that hospital in the roads before two days and why he was not given any treatment. For this the lady officer said that as "I am in an important meeting please see the superintendent for the details regarding this". Soon the Media people met him and when asked about the patient the superintendent said that the patient went missing on 24th of that particular month. The media people were shocked to hear this as they knew the man was attacked by polio and he was not able to go for a short distance also.
Soon one of the media people questioned him whether he had given a police complaint for the missing person and when inquired in the police station they came to know that the faculties of the hospital did not give a message of the missing man to the police station.

I think this is one of the problems that the hospital is facing for the second time as one such similar case happened in the same hospital before some days period of time. This was one of the important hospitals in the city but because of this incident the hospital earned some bad names and there was a request from the people to lock down the hospital as the patients are not seen carefully and are not treated well.

This is one of the incident that proves that the treatment given in the government hospital is not good because of the cruel people working over there who don't have any mercy with them for the suffering people. I too think that such hospitals should be sealed and the doctors should be punished for such cruel behaviors to avoid more such problems in the future period of time.
