If possible, each resident should have the Burglar Alarm fitted with all exiting doors of their residence and this Burglar Alarm should be fitted in a concealed manner and it should not visible for any unknown person who enters the house

The residents should always park their Two Wheeler or Four Wheeler vehicle in safest places

Those who reside in Apartments shall appoint a Security Personnel at least well known to some of them

In any case, suspicious persons posing as Gas Repair Personnel, Telephone Repair Personnel, Fridge Repair work, Bank Loan personnel, Polishing personnel, consumer goods sales person should not be allowed to enter your residence. If you have strong suspicious, then contact the nearest Chennai City Police Station

There are persons who divert your attention and steal your valuable belongings at places like Banks, A.T.M. Centers, Registrar Offices, Jewellery Shops, Pawn Broker Shops, TASMAC Shops and be careful with such people. If you happen to see any person like that please inform the nearest police station

Those who wear Jewellery should take extra care about the chain snatching thief roaming in various parts of the Chennai City and they should take care in not exposing the Jewels to others while travelling etc.

If you have any suspicion or doubt on any individuals who are new to your area / place or if you suspect the movements of any individuals, please do not hesitate to inform the nearest Chennai City Police Station and

Those who rent out or lease out their building for others should take appropriate precaution before renting out / leasing out and they should know the maximum details about the occupant of their flat / building and if there is any suspicion about the occupants, they should inform the nearest Chennai City Police Station.
