Periyar University Salem ais inviting applications for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work in the research project titled "Molecular mechanisms underlying insecticide resistance among mosquitovectors Ae. aegypti, Cx.quinquefasciatus and An. stephensi" funded by SERB at the Department ofBiotechnology, Periyar University Salem, Tamil Nadu. Eligilble candidates who are intrested may go through the article below and apply for the same.

Educational qualifications:

Candidate who want to apply for JRF posts in Periyar University should have M.Sc degree in Biotechnology or Microbiology or LifeSciences or Zoology or Entomology or Molecularbiology or Life sciences.
He/She should haev atleast 55 % marks in the qualyfying degree.
The candidate should have proper working knowledge in Insect and Molecular BiologyTechniques.
National/International publications in concerned area will be an advantage.
Please note that selected candidate is required to travel different locations of Tamilnadu for collecting samples periodically. So,he/she should ready to do that when ever necessary.

Pay scale: Rs.16, 000/- per month for the 1st& 2ndyear and Rs. 18,000/-p.m from 3rdyear onwards.
