Southern Railway Recruitment 2012 for 195 Various Vacancies

Southern Railway has announced latest notification recruitment for 195 vacancies under Special Recruitment Drive.

Candidates who are eligible may go through the article below and apply for the same. Please note that for all posts there is age relaxation 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST candidates. For all posts there will be south central railway exam 2012 and medical Examination. But for one post (Assistant Station Master), separate Aptitude Test after railway exam 2012 will be conducted and for teacher posts separate interview will be conducted.

Junior Engineer – 27 vacancies

Assistant Station Master – 25 vacancies

Pay scale: PB-2 Rs. 5200 – 20200
Qualification: Candidate should have degree from recognized University. If the candidate have diploma in Railway Transport & Management from Institute of Rail Transport it will be additional qualification to him/her.
Age limit: 18 – 43 years.

Goods Guard – 07 vacanciesPay scale: PB-2 Rs. 5200 – 20200
Qualification: Candidate should have degree from recognized University. If the candidate have diploma in Railway Transport & Management from Institute of Rail Transport it will be additional qualification to him/her.
Age limit: 18 – 43 years.

Technician – 111 vacancies

Pay scale: PB-2 Rs. 5200 – 20200
Qualification: Candidate should have completed his course on Apprentices /ITI approved by NCVT/SCVT in the trade of Electronics & Electrical, Electrician, Wireman Or Coil winding. AC Mechanic, Armature winding.
Age limit: 18 – 43 years.

Enquiry cum Reservation Clerk – 01 vacancy

Ticket Collector – 06 vacancies

Teacher Grade – 01 vacancy

Chemical and Metallurgical Assistant – 01 vacancy

Junior Accounts Assistant – 01 vacancy

Qualification: Candidate should have degree from any university with I & II Divisions Honours and Master Degree. He/she should have typing proficiency @30 wpm in English or @25 wpm in Hindi.
Age limit: 20 – 50 years.

Staff Nurse – 02 vacancies

Qualification: Candidates should have registered as Nurse & Midwife having passed 3 year course in General Nursing and Midwifery from a School of Nursing or other Institution.
Pay scale:PB-2 Rs. 9300 – 34800
Age limit: 20 – 50 years.

Health and Malaria Inspector – 04 vacancies

Qualification: Candidates should have done their BSc Chemistry and 1 year Diploma of Health/Sanitary Inspector or 1 year National Trade Certificate.
Pay scale: Rs. 9300 – 34800
Age limit: 18 – 43 years.

Qualification: Candidates should have Passed in Higher Secondary Examination in 10+2. If not candidate should have diploma in Pharmacy and Registration should be either with Pharmacy Council of India or with State.
