Chennai Petroleum Corporation Limited (CPCL) is inviting applications from eligible persons and from Indian nationals for the post of Fireman, Refinery Operator and Refinery Technician.

CPCL 2012 Fireman job details


Vacancies: 4
Eligibility criteria:
  1. Candidate should have completed his Matriculation from govt recognized Board.
  2. Candidate should have adequate knowledge of English.
  3. Must have completed Fireman's Certificate course from NFSC Nagpur or State or Central Govt.
  4. He should be medically and physically fit.

Experience: Candidate should have minimum of 2 years experience in Refinery / Petroleum / Petrochemical / Chemical / Fertilizer /Gas Processing Plant.
Salary: 5,100-9,500 on a basic pay of `5,100/-

CPCL 2012 Refinery Operator and Refinery Technician job details


Vacancies: 50
Salary: `5,800-11100 works out to about `3.0 lakhs per annum
Selection process: The selection shall be made through Written Test and Personal Interview of the short listed candidates.
Refinery Operator
    Department: Power & Utilities /Maintenance (Electrical)
    Vacancies: 28 (SC-5 OBC-9 UR-14)
    Eligibility: Candidate should have a first class diploma marks in Chemical / Petroleum /Petro-Chemical Engg. /Technology. If not the candidate should have first class degree marks in B.Sc. with Chemistry as a major subject.
    Experience: 2 years

RefineryOperator/RefineryTechnician(Electrical)
Department: Manufacturing/Process Units/Oil Movements & Storage
Vacancies: 8 (SC-2 OBC-2 UR-4)
Eligibility: Candidate should have first class marks in Electrical / Electrical &Electronics Engineering
Experience: 2 years
Refinery Operator /Refinery Technician
Department: Power & Utilities /Maintenance (Mechanical)
Vacancies: 8 (SC-2 OBC-2 UR-4)
Eligibility: Candidate should have first class marks in Electrical engineering
Experience: 2 years of minimum experience in rotating shifts of water tube boilers and other utility systems.
Refinery Technician
Department: Maintenance(Instrumentation)
Vacancies: 4 (SC-1 OBC-1 UR-2)
Eligibility: Candidate should have first class marks in Instrumentation /Instrumentation & Control/ Electronics &Instrumentation /Electronics &CommunicationsEngineering.
Experience: 2 years of minimum experience in a process industry including Refinery /Petro-chemical / Chemical / Fertilizer / Power.
