Please note that selected candidates will be allotted to any of the college campuses / research stations of the University like Coimbatore, Madurai, Killikulam and Mettupalayam. TNAU Coimbatore is offering many MS and PhD programs and candidate is eligible to choose only two subjects in Master/ Doctoral programs and separate fee is to be sent for each subject.

TNAU PG admission 2012 details

TNAU MS Eligibility
Candidates who want MS 2012 admission in TNAU should have completed his 4 years degree program in anyone of the State Agricultural Universities / Colleges.
Duration: Two years (Four semesters)

TNAU PhD Eligibility
Candidates who want PhD 2012 admission in TNAU should have minimum OGPA of 3.00 out of 4.00 or 7.00 out of 10.00 or 70% aggregate. If the candidate is form backward casts i.e. SC/STcandidates, a pass in the qualifying degree is enough.
Duration: Three years (Six semesters)

Candidates have to take a DD of for Rs.1000/- (Rs. 500/- for SC/ST) in favour of Dean (SPGS), TNAU, Coimbatore payable at State Bank of India,TNAU Branch, Coimbatore - 3.
Selection process: Selection of candidates is purely based on the writtenm test conducted by TNAU at Coimbatore at campus. Note that the exam is objective type questions and will be of 1 hour duration.

At the tile of admission, candidates should submit following documents:

Provisional / Degree certificate of Bachelor's / Master's degree
Transfer /Migration certificate
Conduct certificates
Grade sheet of B'tech or Master degree
Community certificate, if the candidate belongs to backward caste.
