Tamilnadu Open University CDE Distance education BEd admission notification 2012 - 2013

Tamilnadu Open University is inviting applications for the admission to BEd (SE) course under distance education for the academic year 2012-13. Candidates are selected through TNOU entrance exam with a duration of 2 hours and for a maximum of 100 marks with 100 questions. Note that TNOU BSc programme of study starts from January 2013 and ends at December 2014. TNOU has total number of 500 seats 250 (English medium), 250 (Tamil medium). The Entrance Examination will be conducted at Chennai, Tamilnadu from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on 07.10.2012 (tentative)

TNOU 2012 CDE Distance education BEd Eligibility Criteria

To get BEd admission in TNOU, the candidate should have passed in the UG Degree Examination from any UGC recognised University.

He/She should have done that pattern in the 10+2+3 stream or 11+1+3 format.

In case if the candidate have a direct UG degrees without +2 qualification or PG degree without a UG degree he/she are not eligible without any question.

Please note that admission is purely based on the marks obtained in the TNOU entrance exam 2012

TNOU also provides reservation seats to SC / ST, SC (Arunthathiyars), MBC / DNC, BC - O (Except Muslims), BC - M (Muslims only), OC communities under government norms.

TNOU CDE Distance education BEd application form 2012

Candidates can get TNOU BEd application form 2012 form the website or he can get form the register office by paying Rs. 500/- towards cost of application.

He/She should get application form 2012 and prospectus in person either from the University Office or UCC or BEd (SE) Study Centres, by paying mentioned money through cash or Demand Draft which whould be drawn in favour of 'Tamilnadu Open University' payable at Chennai.

If the candidate wants the TNOU BEd application form 2012 by post he/she should write a request letter which should be accompanied by a Demand Draft (details mentioned above) and send it to following address.
