Dharmambal polytechnic women Chennai is searching for the candidates who are interested to do diploma course. Applications are invited from eligible candidates for various diploma programs offered by Dharmambal polytechnic college for the academic year 2012 to 2013. The courses offered are as follows

1 Civil Engineering - 3 Years
2 Civil Engineering (Environmental Engg.)-3 Years
3 Architectural Assistantship (S.W) - 3 1/2 Years
4 Garment Technology- 3 Years
5 Modern Office Practice- 3 Years
6 Electronics and Communication Engineering- 3 Years
7 Instrumentation and Control Engineering- 3 Years
8 Cosmetology-1 Year
9 Computer Engineering-3 Years

Intake details

60 students will be intake for the courses Computer Engineering, Instrumentation and Control Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Modern Office Practice and Garment Technology.

40 will be intake for the courses Architectural Assistantship (S.W)

20 will be intake for the courses Civil Engineering and Civil Engineering (Environmental Engg.)

10 students for Cosmetology.

Eligibility to do Diploma course in Dharmambal polytechnic women college

First year admission: Candidate should pass in the 10th Standard (S.S.L.C.) or any other equivalent qualification for diploma admission in Dharmambal.

For Lateral Entry: A pass in HSC either in Academic or Vocational. Subject done by student in HSC should be Maths / Physics / Chemistry for Engineering Courses, Accoutancy & Auditing for Modern Office Practice and any subject pass for Cosmetology and Physique Culture.

Students eligible can apply for the courses mentioned above.
Only women were allowed for admission.
Admission on the basis of high marks in 10th examination / +2 for lateral entry.
