Bharathiar University Coimbatore is inviting application for the posts of Assistant Professors, Librarian and Assistants in the newly established Bharathiar University PG Extension Centre, Erode.

New vacancies in Bharathiar University PG centre Erode 2012

Director/professor

No of Posts: 01

Department: English

Pay scale: Rs.37400-67000 with AGP Rs.10000/-

Qualification:

Candidate should be a Ph.D graduate form any reputed university.
He/she should have efficient qualification(s) in the concerned department with minimum of 10 publications as books or research/policy papers.
Candidate should have minimum of 10 years of teaching experience in University/College.
If not he/she should have experience in research at the University or industries.
Minimum score Academic Performance Indicator (API) based is must.

Associate Professor

No of Posts: 05

Department: English-1, Mathematics-1, Management-1, Computer Applications-1, Textiles and Apparel Design-1,

Pay scale: Rs.37400-67000 with AGP Rs. 9000/-

Qualification:

Candidate should have a Ph.D. degree in the relevant field mentioned above.
Candidate should have a master's degree with atleast 55% marks.
As per the rules candidate should have a minimum of 8 years of experience of teaching or research field.
Candidate should have a minimum of 5 publications as books or research papers.
Candidate should have a minimum score API and PBAS

Assistant Professor

No of Posts: 05

Department: English-1, Mathematics-1, Management-1, Computer Applications-1, Textiles and Apparel Design-1,

Pay scale: Rs.15600-39100 with AGP Rs.6000/-

Qualification:

Candidate should have good academic record form any reputed university with at least 55% marks at the Master's Degree level.
He/she should apply to the department only where he has degree in relevant subject.
He/she must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) for lecturers conducted by the UGC, CSIR.
NET/SLET/SET shall also not be required in disciplines for which these tests ate not conducted.
A relaxation of 5% may be provided, from 55% to 50% of the marks to the Ph.D. degree holders

Assistant Librarian

No of Posts: 01

Department: Library

Pay scale: Rs.15600-39100 with AGP Rs.6000/-

Qualification:

Candidate should have a masters degree in Library Science or Information Science or Documentation Science.
He/she should obtain that degree with at least 55% marks with good academic record.
The candidate should qualify in the national level test conducted UGC.
If the candidate have a Ph.D. degree, he/she shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition.

Assistant Director of Physical education

No of Posts: 01

Department: Physical Education

Pay scale:Rs.15600-39100 with AGP Rs.6000/-

Qualification:

Candidate should have a master's Degree in Physical Education or Master's Degree in Sports Science.
He/she should have atleast 55% marks with a consistently good academic
He/she should qualify in the national level test conducted by the UGC.
The candidate should pass in physical fitness test.
If the candidate have Ph.D. degree he/she shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition.
