  1. The candidate should have Ph.D. qualification in specified field or in relevant discipline.
  2. He/she should have minimum of 10 publications as books and / or research / policy papers.
  3. The candidate should have a minimum of 10 years of teaching experience in university / college.
  4. candidate should have a a minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API).
  5. He/she should be an outstanding professional with good reputation in the relevant field.
  6. A relaxation of 5% may for the SC/ST/Persons
