TNPSC of Tamilnadu is inviting application for the recruitment of Superintendent of Government Observation Home through online mode from 13th June 2012.

Name of the Service and Code - Tamilnadu Social Defence Subordinate Service (059)
Number/ Distribution of vacancies - 2 GT-1 SC(A) -1(W)
Scale of pay - Rs.9,300 - 34,800/- (PB2) + 4,900-G.P
TNPSC 2012 Superintendent of Government Observation Eligibility criteria
Maximum age - Minimum age is 18 years and Maximum is 30 years. Please note that there is no minimum for SC/ST candidates.
Educational qualification
Candidate should posses a degree in Arts or Science or Commerce of any University or Institution recognised by the University Grants Commission.
If not the candidate should have B.O.L. of Annamalai University
If not the candidate should posses should have a B.B.A degree form Madurai-Kamaraj University.
If not the candidate should have a B. Litt degree from Madras University
If not the candidate should have a B.B.M degree or B.Litt from Bharathiar University
Please note that the candidate should have done SSLC, HSC, and U.G. Degree. If not he is not eligible.
He/she should be fluent in Tamil.

Candidates have to pay Rs.150/- towards examination fee. They have an option of paying through Net Banking, Credit Card and Debit card Payment. We have updated how to pay through these modes. Please do follow and apply.
Selection process of TNPSC Superintendent jobs 2012
Candidates have to appear for written exam and oral test.
The question paper consists of General Knowledge (100 questions) and General Tamil / General English (100 questions) with a 3 hr of duration.
Minimum Qualifying Marks for selection for SC/S candidates is 102 and for others is 136.

Last date for payment of Fee through Bank or Post Office 17.07.2012
Date of Written Examination 12.08.2012 FN 10.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m.
