General Duty Women

Indian coast guard job Assistant Commandant post eligibility for various branch

Pay scale of all this branch is Rs.15600-39100 with Grade Pay Rs 5400. Below I have given the eligibility and age limit details.

(a) General Duty
Candidate seeking this post must scored 60% in Physics and Maths during his 12th standard. Then he should be a Bachelor's degree holder with 60%. His educational background should be from a recognized institutes.

Age limit for men: Should be born between 01 Jul 88 to 30 Jun 92
Age limit for Women: Should be born between 01 Jul 88 to 30 Jun 92

(b) General Duty (Pilot, Navigator or Observer)
Candidates need same qualification as above. But he should have UG degree in B.Sc with Maths & Physics. 60% marks should be needed.

Age limit: Should be born between 01 Jul 86 to 30 Jun 94

(c) Technical Branch
Candidate should be a degree holder in Naval architecture / Mechanical/ Marine/Design/ Production /Aeronautical/ Automotive / Industrial and Production/ Aeronautical/Instrumentation and Control/ Electrical/ Electronics and Tele Communication. All this course should be recognised by AICTE. Schooling eligibility were same as before.

Age limit: Should be born between 01 Jul 83 to 30 Jun 92

(d) Pilots Helicopter and fixed wing
Both Men and Women can apply for this job. Students have Commercial Pilot license were eligible. CPG should be approved by DGCA.

Age limit: Should be born between 01 Jul 86 to 30 Jun 94

How to apply coast guard jobs in Tamilnadu

Only online application form is available in the official site ( www.joincoastguard.org) between 31 May to 22 Jun 2012.

Submit all the information correct. Entering wrong information may lead to rejection.

After you submit your application form you will be provided a unique registration number along with the submitted application form. Take a hard copy of it.

This exam is the Preliminary round. The date of the examination will be enclosed in the application form. Probably this exam will be conduct on the first week of July. This Preliminary round is followed by final selection. Selected candidates can get details in official site.
