Tamil recipe - Kollu Vegetable Soup
One Sunday evening, I tried to make a different soup being bored with making soup with usual vegetables. so, i cooked soup in a different manner with vegetables along with horse gram (Kollu) which is a important ingredient in diet plan. Really it was very spicy and taste good. You too try this.
Ingredients require to make Kollu Vegetable Soup
Kollu (Horse gram) - As needed
Cabbage - As needed
Carrot - As needed
Onion - As needed
Tomato - As needed
Green Chilies- 2 or 3
Coriander leaves - As needed
Curry leaves -As needed
(You can add further more vegetables like brinjal, beans etc as you like)
Steps to Make Kollu Vegetable Soup
1.Cook the Kollu, Tomato, Cabbage, Carrot in a cooker.
2.Fry the onion, Green chillies, along with curry leaves and add this to the cooked vegetables.
3. Now grind these ingredients and again cook in a vessel to a soup like consistency.
4. Add some coriander leaves.
5. Sprinkle some pepper powder and salt.
6. Serve hot the soup.
Try and enjoy the receipe.
If you want to maintain your body trim, try to have kollu soup every morning in empty stomach. It will works better in making your body physically fit.
