How to Calculate the Cut-off Marks for TN Engg 2012

Computer students cut-off mark calculation
Add the marks scored in Physics and Chemistry. Divide the total by four. Say this value as X. Divide you mathematics mark by 2. The obtained value is Y. Add X and Y which your Engineering cut-off mark.

Biology students cut-off mark calculation
Calculate the X value as above cited paragraph. Divide you biology mark by 2. The obtained value is Y. Add X and Y which your medical cut-off mark.

X= (Physics+Chemistry) / 4
Y= Maths / 2 or Biology / 2
