Ravindra Jadeja for CSK
Indian cricket batsman Ravindra Jadeja joins Chennai Super Kings with whooping auction. CSK bought Ravindra Jadeja for 9.72 crore. As expected nobody picked senior player Lakshman in auction. Fifth IPL Twenty20 series starts on April 4 and ends on May 27. This time 9 teams such as Chennai Super Kings, Mumbai Indians, kolkatta Knightriders Bangalore Royal Challengers were participating IPL 5. Auction for this IPL 5 started on February 4 at Banglore. 144 players from 11 international cricket teams took place in this auction. At the last minute for various reasons Pune Warriors went out of auction, So only eight teams participated.
There was much competition to buy all rounder Ravindra Jadeja in IPL 5 aution.Chennai, Deccan teams denoted same amount to buy Jadeja during the auction. Chennai won by Tie breaker. So now Ravidera Jadeja belongs to CSK. Although the original auction money is not announced but formally it was announced as Rs .9.72 crore. Sri Lanka's captain Jayawardene, who was in Kochi Tuskers last year was bought for Rs. 6.8 crore for the team Delhi Daredevils.

> None of the team bought Pakistan players for past three IPL but this time Azharr Muhamad was bought for Rs:97 Lakh.
