Ingredients to prepare Onion Rasam

* Onion - 2
* Tamarind Juice - 1 small cup
* Boiled Thuvaram Parupu (Toor dhal) - 1 cup
* Tomato - 2
* Seeragam ( Cumin seeds) - 1/2 tsp
* Dhania seeds - 1 tablespoon
* Pepper - 1/2 tsp
* Sompu - 1 tsp
* Red Chilly - 3
* Garlic - 4 tooth
* Curry leaves - little
* Coriander leaves - small bunch
* Mustard - 1/2 tsp
* Oil - as required
* Salt - as required

Methods to prepare Onion Rasam

* Cut the Onion and tomato into small pieces

* Boiled the Thuvaram parupu and churned it

* Take a Pan and fry Dhania seeds, Pepper, Sompu, Red chilly, Cumin seeds, Garlic and grind it in Mixie by adding Coriander leaves

* Take a Pan, add oil, mustard, Sliced Onion and tomato and fry well

* Now add tamarind extract and Thuvaram parupu dhal

* After heat, put ground paste and add salt

* If green smell gones, put off the rasam and tasty onion rasam preparation is ready.
