Description about Fashion design course
 The Fashion design Course is all about the basic human necessity which is the clothing. The style of wearing clothes differs from religion, tradition, country, etc. This course in fashion design enables one to create the style of clothes which will be suitable for the younger generation. This course not only deals with creating new designs in garments but also deals with jewelleries, footwears, hairstyles and so on. The course develops the creativity of the students and all the latest designs updates will be taught in the study.
The fashion design syllabus teaches the students the following skills:
1. fashion illustration, fabric and colour
2. clothing construction
3. communication skills
4. marketing
5. merchandising
6. working under professional designers
The students will not only be trained in theory but the course also includes assignments, projects, training will be given to take part in annual designer shows, etc. In Tamilnadu only very few colleges offers this course. The eligibility for this course is that the students must have completed their higher secondry or any other equivalent from a recognized institution.
