Review of Shankar's latest release tamil movie Nanban

Nanban is the new tamil movie which is released today and is one of the most awaited films in tamil film industry. This film is the remake of the blockbluster Hindi film 3 Idiots the story of the film Nanban is based on the novel Five Point Someone written by the famous writer Chetan Bhagat. The lead roles in Nanban are played by the famous tamil heroes Vijay, Jeeva and Srikanth and this film rocks the entire South India. The total budget of Nanban is Rs.60 Crore and the film is also dubbed with the title 3 Rascals in Telugu.

Story of 3 idiots remake Nanban

The film starts with Srikanth (Venkata Ramakrishnan) and Jeeva (Sevalkodi Senthil) who are in search for Vijay (Panchavan Parivendan). Sathyan (Srivatsan) also joins their journey in search of Vijay. After this the flashback in Nanban movie starts.

The flashback portrays the life of engineering students, their hostel life and their professors. Sathyaraj plays the role of the strict professor. Our 3 heroes are students who share the hostel room in this college. They three are the thickest friends and in this film Srikanth does engineering just for fulfilling his fathers wish, Jeeva studies to raise the financial position of his family and Vijay studies because he loves the course.

Tamil actor Vijay like all other usual story falls in love with Ileana who is the heroine of Nanban movie. She plays the role of a medical college student and is also the daughter of the college Principal Sathyaraj (Virumandi Santhanam) who hates Vijay and his fond of Sathyan.

Vijay passes the exam with flying colors and also helps his friends to achieve their goal but after this he suddenly disappears.

Now the friends along with IIeana begin their search for Vijay.

What they found in their search is really a shock not only for them but also for the audience.

Performance of the artists in tamil movie Nanban

Illayathalapathi Vijay has done a very good role in the film. He suits well for the role of college student. He looks very neat and fit for the role. The role of Vijay in Nanban will definitely be a turning point in his career and this film is a treat for all Vijay fans.

Jeeva looks bubbly, young and energetic. The characterization of Jeeva is really good and is more of humour.

Srikanth's role just matches who did in the original. His character has a middle class family man is very well done.

The role of Ileana in Nanban is very impressive and also glamorous. She suits well for the role of a medical student.

Sathyaraj in his strict professor's role has acted well for the role.

Sathyan plays the comedy part in the film.

The cameo appearances of SJ Surya and Anuya is worth watching.

Shankar's swift screenplay is the technical highlight of the movie Nanban. He has made many changes in his remake so that it will suit the Tamil audience. Even not a single shot looks boring. He has selected the right kind of artists.
