Tane strom relief fund free cashew and coconut crops for Tamlinadu farmers
Crops and farming land has been destroyed heavily due to tane puyal. To compensate this Tamilnadu chief minister J.Jayalalitha announced free cashew and coconut plants for the farmers who affected heavily by this strom. At the end of last December storm hit Cuddalore, Villupuram, Nagai districts of Tamilnadu were affected. Tane puyal caused severe damage in Cuddalore district when compared to other districts that received tane puyal. Due to this cashew crops got damaged. Above 34 people died due to this tane storm. Tane strom caused electricity cut and didn't received power supply till now. Government of Tamilnadu proposed 800 crores for renovation work on the storm-affected areas. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalitha visited storm-affected areas in Cuddalore and provided relief to affected people. Carry out relief work in cyclone-affected areas for relief of the Central Government should provide more than 5000 crore rupees to the Government requested that the Central Government. To sarry out relief work in cyclone-affected areas Central Government should provide more than 5000 crore rupees which was requested by TN chief minister. According to the request PM Man Mohan Singh provided 500 crore as relief fund to Tamlinadu. The officials of central ministry checked the storm affected areas headed by Lokesh Ja. This group made a research on storm affected areas of Cuddalore, Vilupuram and Nagai district.
