Upper Division Clerk, Multitasking Staff Recruitment in Employees' State Insurance Corporation Tamil Nadu

Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) was established in the year 1948 by the Central Government under the Employees' State Insurance Act. The objective of the ESIC is to give protection to the workers in health-related problems like Sickeness, Maternity, etc. which may lead to loss of pay.

Applications are invited from eligible Indian Nationals for appointment as Upper Division Clerk and Multitasking Staff in Employees' State Insurance Corporation.

Eligibility for recruitment in ESIC

Upper Division Clerk Post in ESIC
The minimum age limit set for the post is 18 years as on 31 January 2012.
The maximum age limit set for the post is 27 years as on 31 January 2012.

Multitasking Staff Post in ESIC
The minimum age limit set for the post is 18 years as on 31 January 2012.
The maximum age limit set for the post is 25 years as on 31 January 2012.
Relaxation in age will be provided for Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribes, etc.

Educational Qualification for Upper Division Clerk
• The candidate must have possess Degree in any disciplines from a recognized university or equivalent.
• The candidates must also have a knowledge in computers.

Educational Qualification for Multitasking Staff
The candidate must have completed Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized board.

Total No. of posts in ESIC: Total 214 posts are available.

Upper Divison Clerk: 77 posts are available.
(General-43, SC-14 and OBC-20)

Multitasking Staff: 137 posts are available.
(General-74, SC-26, ST-1 and OBC-36)

Pay Scale for Upper Divison Clerk in ESIC: Rs. 5200-20200 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 2400.

Pay Scale for Multitasking Staff in ESIC: Rs. 5200-20200 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 1800.

Application Fee for recruitment in ESIC

• The candidates have to pay their application fee in the form of Demand Draft only.
• The candidates have to draw a DD in favour of MTS Examination, ESIC, Tamil Nadu payable at Chennai.
• SC/ST/PWD/Ex-Serviceman/Female candidates can apply at free of cost they are exempted from the application fee.
Application fee for the post of ESIC Upper Division Clerk: Rs. 225 only.
Application fee for the post of ESIC Multitasking Staff: Rs. 125 only.
