Baana Kaathadi fame Adharvaa performed a male lead and Myyna fame Amala Paul performed a female lead. Muppozhudum Un Karpanaigal is a romantic film and second film for Adharvaa. Comedy is done by Santhanam and Jayaprakash did a pivotal character.

Initially Simaran was approached by the director for the role of Adharvaa's mother but she refused to act as a mother. Finally Anupama Kumar bagged the role after Roja refused.
