Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research, Puducherry (JIPMER) invites applications from eligible candidates for admission into JIPMER MD & MS courses for its April 2012 academic session. Candidates are selected based on their performance in the entrance examination which is to be conducted by JIPMER on 12th February 2012 (Sunday).

Eligibility criteria for JIPMER MD, MS, 2012 Examination

• The candidate must be a resident of India.
• The candidate must have completed MBBS Degree recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI).
• The candidate must have completed or should be pursuing One Year Internship training by 31st March 2012.

Application Procedure for JIPMER 2012 MD and MS Exams

1. The candidates have to get the JIPMER application forms only by online.

2. The Completed application forms has to be posted with all the required enclosures.

3. The Completed JIPMER MD/MS 2012 Applications can be submitted by ON-LINE by accessing the official website of JIPMER from 05-12-2011to 09-01-2012.

4. Applicants are requested to take a Demand Draft for Rs.1,000/- (For SC/ST: Rs.800/- only) issued by any Nationalized Bank, drawn in favour of "Accounts Officer, JIPMER" payable at Pondicherry. They can also pay the fees by online.
