The Story of the tamil movie Kochadaiyaan

Kochadaiyaan is Rajinikanth's upcoming movie which is to be released in 2012. The highlight of Kochadaiyan is that it is the first 3D film with performance capturing technology produced in India. The movie is about the story of the pandiyan king Kochadaiyan Ranadhiran whi lived in 710-735 A.D.

Kochadaiyan Ranadhiran is the the son and successor of Arikesari Maravarman. The famous pandiyan king Kochadaiyan had underwent many aggressive wars against the Cheras and Cholas and had also won in the battle. People of Tamilnadu had given him many titles like Mannar Mannan, Vanavan Sembiyan, Madura Karunatakan and Kongar Koman. Rajinikanths second daughter Soundharya Rajinikanth is to direct this film. K.S.Ravikumar will handle's the story and screenplay of Kochadaiyan.
