Chennai metro city has now updated unique emergency numbers instead of regular "100". Emergency related to accidents, hospitals, bus problems and complaints can be registered. This emergency service is available in the form of SMS too. I have provided chennai emergency numbers below.

Chennai police Emergency numbers

Chennai metro city one of the developed city in India. This is the biggest city in Tamilnadu now extending its boundary every year. So it is unable to provide police emergency service to chennai people faster. Now they have updated their emergency service as regional wise. Emergency service in Chennai is divided into four regions North, South, East and West. Each region has its own unique emergency number which can be used for accidents, police complaints, public problems and any form of emergency. Below I have provided the phone number for each region.

Chennai South emergency number - 90031 30102
Chennai North emergency number - 90031 30104
Chennai East emergency number - 90031 30101
Chennai West emergency number - 98408 24100

You can also get benefit of this emergency service through SMS. The SMS should be send to the number given below.

Chennai SMS emergency service - 95000 99100

This number can be used by all regions. This is a 24 hours service provided by Chennai police. This numbers were used instead of regular "100". Due to increasing problems and accidents in Chennai metro city this service has been implemented. I suggest all the Chennai people who reading this article to load this number in your contact.
