This Madurai Rifle Club is affiliated to Tamilnadu Shooting Association, Chennai and is well recognized club running for several years. Shooting courses such as rifle shooting, pistol shooting and Trap & Skeet shooting can be learned here which is conducted at every Sunday from 8.00am to 12.00pm. There is no discrimination in genders both men and women were invited to this Madurai Rifle Club.

Members from Madurai Rifle club has achieved lot. Many members from this club has won silver and gold medals. Some of the achievements made by Madurai gun shooters are as follows.

1. Gold medal by Mrs.S.Savinthana Devi in 10m Air Pistol Women.
2. Silver medal by team event Manjula Veeraragavan, Noorul Anisha and Praveena in 10m Air Rifle Women Civilians.
2. Bronze medal by Master B.Mithlesh in 10m Air Rifle Junior Men.
