My Interview Experience with TCS

This is my experience with TCS which is my first company and this is my first interview experience ever in my life.I feel it important to share since it was the starting point of my career.It may probably help those who are trying for jobs.

My Interview Experience with TCS

During my third year college life, companies came pouring in for recruiting the students apt for their respective companies. My college always received TCS as the first company every academic year.

As it was my first interview experience ever in my life, I was as tensed as every other student and was preparing hard for the Aptitude exams.

There were three rounds of interview

Aptitude
Technical
HR

Aptitude round was an online exam which was conducted at 1.00 in the afternoon.
To my horror, my application along with twenty others' got postponed due to lack of space in the database. Somehow I entered the examination hall after all the hurry burries and sat in a row of six candidates. After the time limit, everyone submitted their answers in my row and was waiting for the results.At last, I got selected and I was the only one among two who got selected in my row.

I thanked God and entered the second round. My panel had comprised of three Persons, one asking the technical questions, one with plenty of To my horror, I did not know most of the questions they asked in my technical round . But Somehow, I didn't lose my confidence till the end and got through to the third round.

Third round was a normal HR round in which the HR asked some general questions regarding my career aim, etc.Finally, they announced the list of candidates who got selected for TCS at night 11o' clock. My name came as the 53 rd in the list after waiting so long at the edge of the seat. Till then I have been working for TCS.
