Ingredients needed to prepare carrot masala Idli
Well chopped onions – ½ cup
Carrot well chopped – ½ cup
Chilli powder – ½ teaspoon
Garam masala - ½ teaspoon
Cheese – ¼ cup
Well fried Mustard seeds and Urad dhal
Coriander leaves – as much as needed
Salt to taste
Oil – two teaspoon
Idli flour – as much as needed
How to prepare Carrot Masala Idli
First step - Take a pan, and pour some oil in it and fry the mustard seeds and the Urad Dhal in it
Second step- Add the well chopped carrot and onion in the mixture and fry them together
Third step- Add all the ingredients like chilli powder, Garam masala, cheese, coriander leaves, salt etc., in them and make a mixture
Fourth step - Add the mixture to the idli Flour that has been prepared already and mix them well
Fifth step – pour the well mixed Idli Flour in the vessel used to cook idli and follow the steps to be carried as usual when preparing the Idli.
Serve well with sambhar and coconut chutney.
