Velayudham Movie which was released in the Deepavali is said to be the mass entertainer which has made a good audience for the film. The actor Vijay is said to have performed a decent role after a long while. this movie gives the importance of Brother Sister relationship after a long time for Vijay.

The Movie Velayudham has found a good audience. It is the movie of tamil actor Vijay that focuses on all the concepts like action, comedy, sentiments and all other essentials that are needed for a movie. The movie is said to be the remake of the old Telugu movie Azad which has some alterations to it, it is said to be a good movie produced by Aascar Ravichandran and is directed by Raja and the songs are composed by Vijay Antony. The lead roles in the movie are played by Vijay, Genelia, Saranya mohan and Hansika.

Story of the movie Velayudham

Genelia plays a journalist in this movie and she wants to eradicate the rowdism in the society along with her friends and also looses two of her friends to the act too. Then they tend to create a character Velayudham who can totally having the power to eradicate the rowdies from the society. On the other hand there is already a person velayudham who is leading a happy life at a village named parunoor and works as a milkman in that village. He also has a sister Saranya mohan and they tend to do anything for each other, there is one more beautiful girl who is in the village and her role in the film is totally a good who is the daughter of the uncle of Vijay (murai ponnu).

One fine day Vijay comes to Chennai to get the savings made by him for the purpose of his sister's marriage. There he messes up with the terrorism in the long run. He meets the journalist Genelia here in Chennai. One day Genelia comes across an accident in which many rowdies and gangsters die and this leaves a good opportunity for Genelia to create her Velayudham role. Soon Genelia and Vijay meet together and Genelia asks Vijay to get to the velayudham's role created by her and Vijay seems to reject the proposal made by Genelia. After sometime Vijay knows the truth that the Chit fund company has cheated and then likes to get into the role of the velayudham to destroy the villain who was the reason for the lives of many who destroyed themselves as the reason of getting cheated by the Chit fund companies. Soon he gets involved in the character to destroy the villain and his gangs and protects the interest of the people. The movie on its run also contains the role of santhanam who does his usual role as a comic entertainer.
