Movies such as Velayudham, 7aam Arivu, Mayakkam Enna and Osthi were confirmed released on or before diwali. The soundtrack of these movies were released and got positive reviews. These four movies very well awaited by the kollywood audience. In addition to this movies such as Vellore Maavattam, Raa Raa and Varnam decorates this diwali.

Velayudham

Velayudham movie was most awaited and most expected movie for Vijay fans. This is a big budget movie worth 45 crore. Soundtrack were not much impressive which was composed by Vijay Antony. The best part of this movie is Vijay's action and dance. This movie got many fast beat songs such as Chillax and the lyrics of this song were made enjoyable. This movie got two beautiful heroine Genelia D'Souza and Hansika Motwani. We expect Santhanam will deliver best comedy in this film like Alaghiya Tamil Maghan. It is confirmed that the movie was going to release in more than 1000 theaters in regions of Tamilnadu alone. Velayutham steps its feet in 26 U.K theaters which is record breaking release after the movie Endhiran.

7aam Arivu

7aam Arivu is big budget movie of the year worth 84 crore directed by A.R.Murugadoss. This is a science fiction movie while Surya plays Tri role. This is the first tamil movie for Shruthi Hasan daughter of Kamalahasan. Vietnamese actor Johnny Tri Nguyen is the stunt performer in Spider man 2 plays a role in this movie. Songs in this movie became very popular and pleasing to hear by the music composed by Harris Jeyaraj. Oh Ringa Ringa song has lots of expectation as it was danced by 1000 dancers.

Mayakkam Enna

There was no expectation for this movie before the release of the songs. Now this movie gained lots of expectation which was directed by Selvaraghavan. This movie was first named as Maalai nerathu Mayakkam and its renamed afterwards. Richa Gangopadhyay is the heroine of this movie who stars for Osthi too. This is romantic film will be something like Kadhal Konden. The director of this movie said this is the new love track that one can experience in Tamil movie. Two songs in this movie were sung by Dhanush which is top best song of the overall new releases. In this movie Dhanush has four different looks ranging from youth character to an old man.

Osthi

This is Super hit bollywood remade movie Dabangg.This movie got two comedians Santhanam and VTV Ganesh. This movie was awaited by Simbhu fans and all youths. Special appearance by Mallika Sherawat has got huge attraction. Githan Ramesh brother of actor Jeeva plays brother role to Silambarasan. The soundtracks were not yet released.
