Ingredients Required for Tamil curd rice recipe preparation
Rice - 1 cup
Water - 2 cups
Milk - 5 cups
Fresh Yoghurt - 2 tsp
Butter - 2 tsp
Salt - required quantity
Coriander leaves – as required
Frying ingredients - oil, mustard, ginger, chillies, Urad dal, Curry Tree
Tamil Curd Rice Recipe Method of Preparation
Soak and wash rice, Keep it ready aide.
Boil the rice by adding 2 cups of milk and 2 cups of water in a cooker.
The consistency of the rice is very important to get the exact taste of Tamil Nadu curd rice recipe.
Rice should be in the form of mashed rice.
After the rice cooked add salt, fresh yoghurt (curd) and mix well, then add hot milk.
Leave it for 5 minutes and then add little more hot milk to cover the rice.

Take a frying pan, heat some oil and then add mustard, Uraddal, ginger slices, green chillies, Curry leaves.
Remove the pan from the heat and add the chopped coriander leaves. Mix the fried ingredients with the rice.
If necessary, add chopped carrot, cucumber, green grapes, and pomegranate with the rice. You can also add some nuts and dry grapes.
