District Consumer Disputes Redressal Forums are specifically constituted by the government of Tamilnadu to address the consumer complaints.District Consumer Protection Council a branch under the Consumer Protection Act was established in each district of Tamilnadu in the year 1986 to address the concerns of the consumers.     National Commission
    Consumers who would like to claim a compensation of more than 1 crore can file their complaint at the National Commission.
