What is current growth rate of Tamilnadu? Should you invest in Tamilnadu? What are TN Government upcoming plans? When power cuts in Tamilnadu will stop? You will find answers of all these questions in this article. For detailed information kindly read the article below.

TN Government to introduce new township policies for better growth

Tamilnadu Government is in a mood to introduce new township policies which will help Tamilnadu to achieve better growth rate. This is decided by J Jayalalithaa- Chief Minister of Tamilnadu. She said that new township policies will also encourage investors to invest more in Tamilnadu. This decision is taken at the FICCI national executive committee meeting. According to Tamilnadu CM they will introduce new industrial policy in near future which is surely going to attract investors to invest in Tamilnadu.

There will some other policies like- automobiles, auto components, pharmaceuticals, bio-technology sectors. She termed all these things as 'second generation reforms.' She said that Tamilnadu Government is having one common view that they will have to promote their growth rate very soon. She also said that her government has the fully confidence that they will able to achieve double digit growth rate within very less days. She said that their aim is to exceed National Growth rate and according to her they can easily do this in next five years. She agreed that they need the help of private investors to increase growth rate. She remembers the days of 2005-06 when she was the Chief Minister and during that time Tamilnadu was able to reach double digit growth rate and growth rate of Tamilnadu during 2005-06 was nearly 13.3 per cent, which is awesom.

Better Growth rate will help Tamilnadu to grow at faster rate than other states in India. She said that her government is very much focused towards the growth of important sectors like roads and power. Power cuts in Tamilnadu- she agrees that Tamilnadu is currently facing some problems with power supply and there is acute power shortage in Tamilnadu so government will add another 4,640 MW of fresh power capacity by end of 2012 which is very good. That means there will less power cuts in Tamilnadu from 2013.
