Alagappa University Tamilnadu department of Biotechnology is conducting Walk in Interview for the recruitment of Junior research fellow JRF and senior research fellow SRF in the department.

Junior Research Fellow (JRF)


Project: "Characterization of innate immune regulators during Shigella spp. infection with model organism, Caenorhabditis elegans and human cellular systems"
Eligibility:
  • The candidate should have a post graduate (PG) degree in Biotechnology/Microbiology.
  • He should be CSIR-UGC NET qualified for Ph.D /Lectureship.
    • Salary: Rs. 16,000 per month- for first 2 years and Rs. 18,000 per month for third year plus HRA as applicable.
    Duration: 3 years

    Senior Research Fellow (SRF)


    Project: "Studies on immune regulatory proteins during Salmonella typhi infection"
    Eligibility:
  • The candidate should have a post graduate (PG) degree in Biotechnology/Microbiology.
  • He should have minimum 2 years of research experience in the area of Functional genomics/Proteomics involving C. elegans as model organism.
    • Salary: Rs. 14,000 + 15% HRA per month.
    Duration: 6 months

    The Candidates who are interested can appear for Walk-in Interview/Written test at the Alagappa University on 14th September 2011. He should bring CV, copies of certificates and all original certificates/ testimonials for verification. Please note that No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview/written test.
