Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple- Sri Rangam
 Sri Raaganathaswamy Temple is located at sri Rangam. Here Lord Vishnu is called as Sri Renga nayagi. As per legend, Sri Ranganathar is swayambu (Self Manifested Lord Vishnu). Lord brahma got this vimanam due to his penance from the Thiruparkadal. He gave this to Suryan (Sun) to perform pooja. Suryan gave this to Sri Ramar, because he born in surya family. Sri Ramar gave this vimanam to Vibishnan. When Vibishnan take this to sri Lankha, he stayed at Srirangam for some time, So he place this vimanam in the bank of river Cauvery. Once he started he tried to lift this vimanam but he couldn't lift he tried for long time. Lord Vishnu also wished to stay over there so he leaved him in Sri rangam and he promised him that he will darshana to him towards north. So Lord Vishnu in this temple in Kidantha Thirukkolam and he is facing North. Later Dharma Varma Cholan built temple around this Vimanam. The Specialty of this temple is seven big walls of this temple. Each wall is referred as Thriuveethi so there are 7 thiruveethis in this Temple.
First Veedi is called as Dharma Varman Thiru Veethi. Second Veedi is called as Raja Mahendran Thiruveedh Third veedhi is called as Kulasekaran Thiruveedhi Fourth veedhi is called as Aalinaadan Thiruveedhi Fifth veedhi is called as Agalangan Thiru veedhi Sixth Veedhi is called as Thiru vikraman thiruveedhi Seventh Veedhi is called as Chitthirai Thiruveedhi
The seventh wall of this temple is 3072 feet length and 2521 feet breadth. Total area of this temple is 155 acres. There are 21 Gopurams in this temple. The main gopuram of this temple is called as Raja Gopuram. The biggest Gopuram in Asia is Rajagopuram of Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple. Sri Azhagiya Manavala Perumal Temple, Trichy
Sri Azhagiya Manaval Perumal Temple is located at Urayoor, Near Trichy railway Junction. In this temple Lord Vishnu is called as Sri Azhagiya ManavaalanM and goddess is called as Sri Kamalavalli Naachiyaar, also known as Uraiyur Valli. In this temple Goddess is in two Forms one is Iruntha Thirukkolam and Kidantha Thirukkolam. By combining both forms here Goddess give Urayum Thirukkolam, since this places is called as Thiru Urayoor. As per Legend, once there was three Rishis called as Thirumuthies, they were in argument that, Who among them was greatest. They went to Brighu Muni, to get the result. They three explained their arguments and they asked him to be a judge to their argument. He also accepted and went to Kailasam to meet Lord Shiva. But in Kailasam, Brighu Muni was not allowed to enter inside the Kailasam, he was stopped by Dwara Balagars, so he thought that, Lord Shiva couldn't be a right person to solve the problems of his devotees, and then he went to Sathya Lokam to meet Lord Brahma and Saraswathi, there also he was not allowed to enter inside. He got disappointed on both Lord Shiva and Brahma. Finally he went to Vaikundam to meet Sriman Narayanan, he is resides with Sri Lakshmi. When brighu Muni entered in to Vaikundam, Sriman Narayanar welcomed him with good manner and he did patha pooja to him. Suddenly Sri Lakshmi said, don't hold his feet. So Brighu Muni got angry and he gave curse to Sri Lakshmi to born as a normal human being in the earth.
In the mean time, The King of Kumbakonam named Dharma Varman who prayed for child. He did Yagam to get child as per the advice of rishis. At the time of Yagam, there was one Asiriri said that "To get child Dharma Varma should pray Sri Lakshmi and as the result Sri Lakshmi will born as his child". So he prayed Sri Lakshmi and he got a female child he named her as "Vara Lakshmi". The days passed, The king searched perfect match to Vara Lakshmi and he planned to do "Swayavaram". In that Swayavaram Sriman Narayanan also came, Vara Lakshmi selected Sriman Narayanan and she put garland to him. So in this stalam Lord Vishnu is in Kalyana Kolam.
The specialty of this Stalam is, here there is no Utsavar, because there is a believe that, Lord Vishnu came from Srirangam and marry Sri Lakshmi, so for this stalam there is no separate Utsavar. Srirangam Utsavar is considered as utsavar to this stalam also. Mangalasasanam to this temple has 2 Paasurams, in which 1 Paasuram is written by Kulasekara Alwar and one paasuram is written by Thirumangai Alwar.
Sri Purushothaman Perumal Temple- Thirukkarambanoor
Sri Purushothaman Perumal Temple is located in Thirukarambanoor, 8 kms from Trichy and 3.5 kms from Sri rangam. In this temple Lord Vishnu is calleda as Purushothaman and Goddess is called as Pooranavalli. Once Lord Shiva got angry with Lord Brahma because both of them has five heads, So Lord Shiva picked brahma's one head from his body. So he got "Brahmagardhi Dhosham" So he lost all of his wealth and he stated beg for food in kabaalam. So Lord Shiva is called as Pichchai Andavar. To get relief from this curse Lord Shiva has to fulfill the kabaalam with Bitchai. So he visited all Divya Desams to get relief from the sin. At the time Goddess Mahalakshmi put bitchai to him and his kabaalam got fulfilled and he got rid from his sin.
In Sri Purushothaman Perumal Temple Lord Shiva,Paarvathi, Brahma (Naan Mugan),Saraswathi Ramar,Hanuman, Alwars has separate sannadis. The specialty of this stalam is, here Lord Vishnu, Lord Brahma and Lord Shiva are collectively known as Mum murthigal. This stalam is also known as Kadama kshetram. Kadambam means mixture of things. Here Lord Shiva and Vishnu both are in same temple so this temple is called as Kadamba Kshetram. Which explains that Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu both are same. Here Lord Vishnu is called as Uthamar and Lord Shiva is called as Pikshandanar. So this temple is also known as Uthamar Kovil . Sri Pundarikashan Perumal Temple, Trichy Sri Pundarikashan Perumal Temple is located in Thiruvellarai near Urayoor. This temple is suited 13 kms from Trichy. Here Lord Vishnu is called as Pundarikashan and Goddess is called as Pangajavalli Thayar. Vellarai means White Rock. The temple is located on the top of the White Mountain, so this place is called as Thiruvellarai. The specialty of this temple is its big wall and entrance. Sri Pundarikashan Perumal temple has two entrance named as Utharayana Vaasal and Dhakshanayana Vaasal. Both of the entrances are not simultaneously opened. Any one of the entrance is opened and another one is closed normally from January month to June Utharayan Vaasal will be opened. Here Lord Vishnu is also called as Surya Narayanan. To explain about these two entrances, we should know about "Utharayana Kalam" and "Dhakshanayana Kalam". There is an explanation in Hindu astrology based on the planets movement, that Utharayan kalam means the sun moves from Makara Raasi to Kadaka Raasi, this period is called Puniya Kalam. Dhakshanayana Kaalam means the sun moves from Kadaka Raasi to Makara Raasi. In this temple two entrance also named like this to explain every people in this world has to enter in to the life in Utharayana Vaasal,where Lord Guberan will be there. If the person will do good things they will move towards Lord Vishnu or swargam otherwise they will move towards the Dhakshanaya Vaasal, where Lord Yeman(God of Naragam) will lead them to Naragam.
There is a belief that, good activities should be done during the Utharayan punya kaalam. But in Dhakshanayana Kaalam can do good activities by worshipping Lord Vishnu. Sri Vadivazhagiya Nambi Perumal Temple- Trichy
Sri Vadivazhagiya Nambi Perumal Temple is located 8 kms from lalgudi, near Trichy. This temple is suited in the bank of River Kollidam. Here Lord Vishnu is called as Vadivazhagiya Nambi and goddess is called as Azhagiya valli Naachiyaar. Lord Vishnu is in Kidantha Thirukkolam in Sri Vadivazhagiya Nambi Perumal Temple. This temple explains the creations done by Lord Brahma. Lord Brahma creates this whole world based on Love (Anbu). To explain this, this stalam is called as Thiruanbil. In this world, all the things are very beautiful and very nice to see.

Sri Appakkudathaan Perumal Temple, Trichy
Sri Appakkudathaan Perumal Temple is located near Kollidam river 3 kms from Sri Vadivazhagiya Nambi perumal temple. Here lord Vishnu is Called as Appakkudathaan and Goddess is called as Kamalavalli Nachiyar. As per legend, once there was a king called as Ubharisaravasu, he was in penance to see Lord Vishnu, at the time Dhurvaasar, the saint came to that side, he noticed Ubharisaravasu but he did not noticed him. So Dhurvaasar got angry on him and gave curse to him that to lose his strength and power. At once Ubharisaravasu begged him to get back the sabam, but he didn't and he asked him to go to Palasavana Kshethram and advised him to give Annadanam to one lakh people. So he came to that place and perform annadanam, only few thousand people were in that village, so he planned to give danam to all people come to that village. One day, Lord Vishnu came as a old man approached Ubharisaravasu and asked for food. Ubharisaravasu offered him food, he ate all the food prepared for thousands of people, but still he was in hungry. So the king asked him to wait for some times, to prepare food. Mean time the old man asked "Appam" to eat. So The king offered him a plate of Appams. At once Lord Vishnu gave dashana to him and he gave relief from his curse. So in this stalam Lord Vishnu is in Kidantha Thirukkolam with Pot of Appam and his right hand is in Varada posture (giving Posture). Since Lord Vishnu is called as Thiru Appakkudathaan.
Mangalasasanam to this temple has 33 Paasurams, In which 19 Paasurams are written by Thirumangai Alwar, one paasuram is written by Thirumizhisai Alwar , 2 Paasurams are written by Periyalwar and 11 paasurams are written by Namaalwar.
Sri Hara Saabha Vimocchana Perumal Temple, Trichy
Sri Hara Saaba Vimocchana Perumal Temple is located Kandiyur, Thanjavur District near Trichy. Here Lord Vishnu is called as Sri Hara Saabha Vimocchanapperumal and Goddess is called as Kamala valli Thaayar. Once Lord Shiva got angry with Lord Brahma, because he has five heads like Lord Shiva, so he pinched one of Lord Brahma's head. As the result Lord Shiva got curse and he lose all of his wealth and he begged for food. So he went all divya desams to get rid from his Brahmagarthi Thosham. Lord Vishnu in this stalam gave darshana in Nindra Thirukkolam. So there is a belief in this temple that, devotees who have sin or curse they can come and get relief out of their sin. The vimana of this temple is like Lotus Flower. Lotus means, Kamalam so this stalam is also called as Kamala keshestram . The ustavar of this temple is called as Kamalanathan. Other sannadis in this temple are Lakshmi Narasimar Sannadi and Vedantha Desikar sannadi. Mangalasasanam to this temple has one Paasuram, which is written by Thirumangai Alwar
