Hindustan University Chennai, Tamilnadu
Hindustan University is a bay range campus situated in Rajiv Gandhi Road (OMR) in Chennai. It was formerly called as Hindustan College of Engineering (HCE). It is a Christian minority institution and it was founded by Dr. K. C. G. Varghese in the year 1985. HCE has been conferred the deemed university status by UGC, Government of India with the name 'Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science' (HITS) from the academic year 2008-09. The vision of HITS is 'To make every man a success and no man a failure'. The university offers numerous facilities to its students thereby providing a global exposure. It has students from different parts of the world like USA, Kenya, Liberia, U.A.E, China, South Korea, etc.,

Placement at Hindustan University
The university has an active placement cell. It involves in making the students to perform well in campus interviews and to get ready for the industry. Hence, placement training programme is offered every to the pre-final year students. In the academic year 2010-11, more than 300 students have got placed in various MNC's like Deloitte, Infosys, HCL, Honeywell, Capgemini, L & T InfoTech, etc.,
