Annamalai University Medical Courses admission 2011


Annamalai University is inviting application form for the admission to the following programmes mentioned below for the academic Year 2011 – 2012.

• M.B.B.S. – Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery
• B.D.S. – Bachelor of Dental Surgery
• B.P.T. – Bachelor of Physiotherapy
• B.Sc (N) – Bachelor of Science – Nursing
• M.P.T. – Master of Physiotherapy
• M.Sc. (Nursing)
• Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery
• Certificate Programme in Dental Mechanics
• Certificate Programme in Dental Hygienists

Eligibility criteria for Medical programmes in Annamalai University 2011


• MBBS degree programme & BDS degree programme
    1. The candidate should be citizen of India.
    2. The candidate should pass in +2 exam of Tamilnadu with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as subjects
    3. If not this he has to get a minimum of 50% marks taken together in PCB.
    For SC/ST 40% aggregate marks taken together in PCB.

• BPT degree programme
    1. Candidate should have passed in H.Sc. with PCB and English Examination.

• BSc(Nursing) Degree & Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery Programme
    1. Candidate should have passed in HSc Exams or SSC exams (10 + 2) or any equivalent with 12 yrs.
    2. He would have done Physics, Chemistry Biology and English as core subjects with a minimum of 46% aggregate marks (PCBE).
    4. For SC/ST 40% of aggregate marks in PCBE ie enough.

•MPT degree Programme
    candidate should have acquired BPT degree of Annamalai University (or) a Degree of any other University.

• MSc (Nursing) Degree Programme
    1. Candidates should have cleared BSc (Nursing) or BSc [Hons. Nursing or Post Basic B.Sc. (Nursing) with minimum of 55% aggregate marks
    2. The marks has been reduced to 50% for SC/ST candidates.
    3. Minimum 1 year of work experience after Basic B.Sc. (Nursing).
    4. Candidates shall be Medically fit.

    1. MBBS Rs.1000/-
    2. BBS Rs.1000/-
    3. BPT Rs.5OO/- Nursing Rs.760/-
    4. MPT.M.Sc 'Nursing Rs.1000/-
    5. Dip. In Gen. Nursing Rs.300/-
    6. Certificala Programme in Denial Mechanics/ Hygienists Hs.200/-

• Candidates can get the application form and Prospectus from The Registrar, Annamalai University, Annamalainagar –608 002
• Candidate has supposed to send a DD favour of The Registrar, Annamalai University, Annamalainagar payable at CHENNAI along with self addressed stamped.
• While sending the application DO NOT forget to mention the name of the Programme.

• Issue of Application Commences from - 07.04.2011 (7th April 2011)
• Last of date for issue application forms - 10.06.2011
• Last of date for receive application forms - 10.06.2011
• For MPT M.Sc (Nursing) Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery last date to issue/receive - 30.06.2011
