Astonishing Results
On seeing the results of Tamilnadu Assembly election poured in the whole India astonished. ADMK DMDK LEFT and some small parties got four fifth of total seats and DMK has gone to third place leaving the opposition party stature also to DMDK .Before the election, all were in the opinion that what can do against these beasts of elections, money and muscle power of central and state govts. Genuinely the free rice,free TV sets, free houses, free ambulance, free treatment, free insurance, free plots,free marriage were the prime weapons of the ruling joint. Truly a central govt minister, Mr.Narayanasamy asked in a public meeting what yet you want? we are giving all except child.
Previous govt of AIADMK
Jayalalitha has no good name among people as her previous govt lowered payment of govt employees and thereby she had to face a stiff fighting from govt employees. To suppress the struggle of govt employees she dismissed 175000 employees at a stretch. She put them in jail and tortured their family also. This approach reflected also in transport, EB, public sector companies, health, road workers, midday meals scheme staff etc and all employees were in very angry and taught her a lesson in the previous assembly election. The angry in them was not gone.
Kalaignar Camp and Thirumangalam formula
So Kalaignar camp was so ease to face the election. They planned to gift all voters irrespective of party, region, caste, religion and win the election. They had already trailed this method in Thirumangalam bi-election. Mr.Azhagiri assured that ADMK will not be there in future.
2G-International scam
But the TV sets that were given by Kalaignar told the people of TamilNadu that Raja, a minister of central govt belongs to DMK was put in jail in the case registered by central govt-CBI-his own govt. The reason was he has looted 176000 crores of rupees in the 2G spectrum. Next charge sheet of CBI told the court that Mrs kanimozhi, DMK MP and daughter of Kalaignar was also a conspirator in that case. This news taught the people many political issues. They told that karunanidhi is giving petty things to the people and take the govt exchequer to himself and to his family. And he goes to the level to scapegoat his party's central Minister Raja to save his daughter. This made them furious.
Strong ADMK alliance
In the mean time Captain the leader of DMDK, who was getting into the election fray individually all along his party's inception, this time realised that he is only dividing the opposing votes of ruling party, suddenly made his entry into JJ allaiance. This shocked Kalaignar as he knows its effect. So he attracted Dr.Ramadass who always swings towards more seats in all elections . The left parties who always oppose cong and its alliance politically,took initiative to collect all secular parties join with JJ alliance with patience and responsible approach. So there was no other go to Kalaignar to yield the pressure of congress to give 63 seats which is more than their capacity.
People in determination
The price rise, unemployment, poverty, selling of education, gold price, current cut, the atrocities of ruling parties etc made the youth of this state realise the position. They will never turn to voting booths. This time they made a vow to vote.The election commission made a tremendous attack on gifting voters in a planned manner. This made the people to vote against the ruling alliance.
Family rule of Kalaignar
Kalaignar's family rule made this election an interesting one. His one son is deputy CM,another is Central minister his daughter is a member of parliament, his nephew also a central minister. His grand sons captured the Tamil cine field so as to release all Tamil films in their banner and in their theaters. One grand son is made an actor also. And more, all others were compelled to accept this domination. This made the cine field to silently oppose the ruling alliance. Star Vijay directly oppose DMK alliance. This made the Kalaignar to surrender to Vadivelu and notorious Khusboo
Results and the lessons
The Adharsh scam and Common Wealth games scam of congress awakened the voters and warned,' Yes this is the limit'. The voters have voted to rout the ruling alliance.This also implied that no money, no power can stop people if they are decided to fight corruption and family rule. And the nation is saying now; please follow Tamilnadu voters. Thus they have warned every ruler, state or central, that if they are not up to the level of people's anticipation they will correctly react in next election.This is the lesson all parties should take .
