Royal Leisure Tours will arrange train tickets from Chennai to Salem at evening. Next day early morning Tourist will reach Salem Railway Station.
Yelagiri Tour Package - Day one
Pickup from Chennai whatever location you preferred to pickup tourist will transfer to yelagiri. The distance from Chennai to Yelagiri is 258 kms it will take 4 hours to reach Yelagiri. Once reached yelagiri hotel room already reserved by Royal Leisure Tour organizer, check in to hotel. Nilavoor Lake and Punganoor Lake– Sightseeing places at Yelagiri

Nilavoor lake is like a pond, we can go for boating in this Lake. There is a beautiful garden near by Nilavoor Lake. And another one lake in Yelagiri is Punganoor Lake. Punganoor Lake is very excellent place at Yelagiri, where we can see Fountain at the center of the Lake. Boating is available in both Lakes. Water of both lakes looks like crystal clear. Children will enjoy both Lakes and nearby Garden. We can see nature nearby us, we can feel the breeze. There is one temple nearby Lake called Kadavu Nachiyar. This temple is much crowed in all Fridays. Excellent tourist place in yelagiri is Lake.

Murugan Temple – Religious Spot at Yelagiri

Lord Murugan Temple at yelagiri is located at the top of Yelagiri Hills. Murugan temple is one of the most loveable tourist places in Yelagiri. This mountain temple is one of the greatest view point of Yelagiri plains. There is a peacock statue looks like real peacock. There is a believe that, Peacock is vehicle of Lord Muruga, So this bird is treated as Lord Muruga. Everyone can feel calmness and stress less feeling in your mind, when you are getting into this temple. Aadi Pooja is associated with this Temple during the month July of every year. This mountain has full of medicinal plants and species so the air come by touching this plants also have some medicinal effects. When the air touches our skin it has reduce skin problems and air we intake will reduce some small problem like infections.

Swami Malai - Relious spot at swamimalai

Swaminathan Temple at Swamimalaiis the Fourth Padai veedu of Lord Muruga's Arupadai Veedu. As per legend once the Creator God Brahma was proceeding to Kailasa, Lord Muruga asked him the meaning of Pranava OM , but Brahma don't know the meaning and he agreed his ignorance. At once Lord Muruga imprisoned him he took all his responsibilities of creations. All creations were standstill then all devas prayed Lord Siva to release Brahma. Lord shiva asked Muruga to release him, and he asked the meaning of the Pranava OM to know whether he knows. Lord Muruga said if you want to know the meaning you should be act like a student because iam going to teach you, Lord Siva accept him as Guru and heard the explanation of Pranava OM. So this place is called as Swamimalai. The most important festivals associated with this temple Panguni Uthiram, Karthikai, Vaigasi Visakam (Birth day of Lord Muruga) and Sasti Festival.

Golden Temple – Sight Seeing Place at Vellore

Golden Temple at vellore is located in Sri Puram, Vellore. This Gold Temple is dedicated to Goddess Mahalakshmi. The cost to construct this Golden Temple is approximately Rs. 600 Crores (Indian Rupees) and this temple construction was completed on August 24, 2007. More than 400 gold Smiths were appointed for construction of this Temple and more than 1500kg of gold was used to coating the entire temple. Golden Temple spreads more than 55,000 Sq. fts. This temple opens for all 365 days from Morning 8 am to Evening 8 PM. This temple is constructed and maintained by Shri Narayani Amma of Sri Narayani Peedam, Vellore.

Vellore Fort– Historical place at Vellore

Vellore Fort is most important historical place in vellore, suited near by Chennai. This Fort is 16th Century Fort built by Vijayaragava Empire, who rolled Vellore in 16th Century. Vijayaragava Empire gave this Fort to Bijapur Sulthan and he gave this to Marathas and finally this Fort captured by British Government till India Independence. The Vellore Fort was constructed by Granite, it spreads over 133 Acres. Inside this fort there is a Temple called Sri Jalagandeeswarar Temple, The Mosque, Chruch, Muthu Mandapam and one Government Museum. Sri Jalagandeeswarar Temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva, here he is called as Sri Jalagandeeswarar. This temple is famous for its Sculptures. The Entire Fort shows indian Architect Technology. This is very very nice place where we can see our early life style.

Other Sightseeing Places at Yelagiri

Jalagamparai water falls at yelagiri is suited 44 kms from Yelagiri city. Jalagamparai Waterfalls is falls from 15 meters height and it took this name because it flows over the village Jadayanur. This falls is formed by the river Attaaru, which flows over plenty of herbal and medicinal plants in the plains of yelagiri, so taking bath in this falls give medicinal effects. We can reach this falls by trek of 6 kms from Nilavoor in the hills.

Moksha Vimochana Temple at yelagiri is located nearby Nilavoor lake. Almost 14 Years ago this temple was founded by a saint and this temple has excellent outlook . One who want peace of mind should go and visit this temple, really this temple reduces mind stress and disturbing mind.

Vainu Bappu Solar Obervatory house at yelagiri is the largest telescope in Asia and commonly known as VBS. It has 2.3 meter diameter and this telescope was first used in the year 1986.
