Bharathiar University, Coimbatore Announced Tamil Nadu State Eligibility Test (SET or SLET) Notification for Lectureship, August 14th 2011. SET exam is also SLET Stare Level Eligibility Test for Lectureship. It determining the eligibility for Lecturers in Universities and Colleges in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.

Bharathiar University, Coimbatore Announced Tamil Nadu State Eligibility Test (SET or SLET) for Lectureship, August 14th 2011. SET exam is also SLET Stare Level Eligibility Test for Lectureship. It determining the eligibility for Lecturers in Universities and Colleges in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.

Eligibility of SET 2011

1. The Candidates who completed or pursuing PG degree are eligible for SET Exam.
2. The Candidates have secured atleast 55% marks in PG Degree.
3. The Candidates who appeared for final year of PG Degree who waiting of result also eligible to apply for SET.
4. The Candidates have to appear for SET in the subject studied in their PG only.

Age Limit: No Upper Age limit

Fees and Mode of Payment SET 2011

1. Rs.1000 for General Candidates.
2. Rs.750 for OBC Candidates.
3. Rs.250 for SC/ST/Physically challenged/Visually Challenged Candidates.
The fees should be paid by a single crossed bank DD from any Nationalized Bank drawn in favour of the The Registrar, Bharathiar University, Coimbatore-641046 Payable at Coimbatore.
