    Tamilnadu chief minister M.Karunanidhi has resigned to his post for the defeat in tamilnadu assebbly elections 2011. Read more about this latest news below.


    Facing a defeat in assembly polls 2011 with the main opponent party AIADMK, Tamilnadu Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi Friday resigned to his post and submitted his resignation to Governor Surjit Singh Barnala. It should be observe that the preset CM accepted his defeat without waiting for the final results in Tamilnadu elections 2011.

    Governor S.S. Barnala accepted the resignation of Mr. Karunanidhi and requested the present Council of Ministers to continue untill AIADMK form a government.

    The DMK and his alliances has just lead over 38 seats, moreover most of the state ministers are expecting the defeat in their respective constituencies.
