Anna university Chennai is inviting applications for the single window admission for first year B. E. / B. Tech. Degree Programme 2012 to the university departments of Anna Universities and all universities under it.

Where can we get TNEA 2012 application form

• By paying Rs. 500/- by cash or DD, all eligible candidates can obtain the application form in person from the centres specified in the website.
• Please note that SC/ST candidates of Tamilnadu have to pay only Rs.250/- by cash/demand draft.
• If the candidate is not available to take in person, he/she can obtain TNEA 2012 application by post.
• Please send a requisition letter along with a DD for Rs.700/- (Rs.450/- in case of SC/ST candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu) to the address mentioned below.
• Candidates can also apply through online. Online application form of TNEA 2012 can be found in official website of Anna university Chennai. Login and please follow the instructions.
• Fill the application form and send it along with D.D to the address mentioned above.

TNEA 2012 Cut off marks & Selection

• The selection of candidates will be purely based on the marks in the qualifying examination.
• The qualifying marks will be taken as 100 in Maths and (Physics + Chemistry) as 100).
• Ranking of TNEA 2012 will be based on this.
• The qualifying is 12th board/HSC. The admission will be done on the basis of 12th Board exam.

Admission details of TNEA 2012

• Please note that, for Tamilnadu students 100% seats reserved, and the selection is purely based on TNEA 2012 score card.
• For other states, there are only 49 seats are reserved in Anna University.
• As every years, only open for Tamilnadu candidates are only allowed to sit for TNEA 2012 counseling.
• Special consideration will be given only for the students who have done study in Tamilnadu or parents working in the state.
