In NSE lot of segment available major is CASH & Derivatives. Nifty future comes under Derivatives or F&O. we will talk about Cash market later.
If you want to trade in Nifty future , First you need Trading account with NSE & BSE licensed share Broker ( for more detail you can add a command I will replay on it).once you have it you can start this trade.
Nifty future available on Lot basic standard lot is 50 , Mini Lot is 20.You need minimum margin from Rs 20,000 to limit less depend upon your money management.
Nifty future available in contract basic , current running month contract called near month contract .For example in the month of May, we can trade May, June & July.In may month nifty you can get more liquidity as compared to other months. Also you can find for the next one year all month contract (MAY-11 to April-12).
Every month last Thursday the running month contract get expires. If the market close on last thursday, then the contract expire on the previous day that means on wednessday.so the new month contract start from friday onwards.

Just go to forum section and click on "post new message", then select forum type and category as "general" and under the title you can type on what topic you want to discuss, then in the description give a brief about what you could like to discuss.
