Remake of the hindi movie 3 idiots in tamil

The hindi film 3 idiots is a superhit hilm acted by Aamir Khan, Madhavan and Sharman Joshi. The film hit the box office and bagged many awards. So with all these expectations Gemini Film Circuit got the idea of taking the film in tamil. They selected Shankar for directing this film and the total budget was estimated to be around 60 crores. The heroes Vijay, Jeeva and Srikanth are popular tamil actors well-known for their achievements in the tamil industry. The heroine of Nanban Ileana D'Cruz plays the role of Kareena Kapoor in 3 idiots. The movie is also to be remaked in Telugu, with a different set of lead telugu heroes.

Storyline of Vijay's upcoming tamil film Nanban

The story is based on a novel by Chetan Bhagat Five Point Someone. The film revolves around three friends who recall their college days and all unforgettable memories of their college life. Sathyaraj plays the role of Professor. S.J. Surya and Sathyaraj's Son Sibiraj have accepted for a guest role in the film.
