Who are eligible for Madras University M.Phil admissions 2011


1. The candidates applying for M.Phil degree in Madras University must have passed in the qualifying examination.

2. The selection is based on the total of marks obtained both in the qualifying exam and the entrance exam conducted by the Madras university.

Application form details of Madras University M.Phil admissions 2011


• Candidates are required to download the prospectus from the official website of Madras University.

Application forms for M.Phil can be obtained in person by paying Rs. 300 (150 for SC/ST) from the office.

• The candidate is required to attach a DD of of Rs. 350 (200 for SC/ST) in favor of "The Registrar, University of Madras" from any Nationalized bank for getting the application forms via post.

• The candidate must submit separate application forms if they want to apply for more than one M.Phil degree program.

Entrance Examination for M.Phil courses in Madras University


The Entrance examinations for M.Phil courses will be commencing from May 20, 2011. The hall tickets will be send to the candidates for intimation about the exam and the candidates can seek the respective HOD's of the department for any other details regarding the exams.
