About Silambarasan's new tamil movie Vaanam

Yuvan Shankar Raja and Silambarasan come together for yet another new tamil movie Vaanam. The duo combination had given very good musical hits like Manmadhan, Vallavan and Silambattam and would love to have their fourth hit with new tamil movie Vaanam. Vaanam is the remake of Telugu superhit movie Vedam acted by Allu Arjun. Vaanam hero Simbhu is acting in the role of Cable Raju. The heroine of film Vaanam is Anushka. Bharath and Prakashraj also include the star cast of the film Vaanam. The comedy track is taken care of by Santhanam. Vaanam will be released on April 29 2011.

Story of Silambarasan's new tamil movie Vaanam

Simbhu is acting as a cable operator in this film Vaanam. Anushka Shetty is acting in the role of prostitute. Simbhu coming from a poor family falls in love with a girl. The girl wants him to be rich in order to love him. She also gives a deadline for him to get rich. Simbhu tries all means to get rich but could not do so. He tries to go the wrong way by snatching chains. It lands him in jail where he meets Anushka. The story of Vaanam thus moves on from there and finally ends with how the problems are solved and ends in a happy note. The story basically moves around the five important elements called as Pancha Bootham. The characters are as follows
